Man I hate rossi, their park skis are super expensive and they really don't have the same feel as the others. Their boots are really good though. Just their park skis arent worth shit

Rossi dropped their support for TGR, and the athletes who shoot with TGR were told by TGR they had to go with companies which support their movies, or their segments would be really short.  (How long are Seth's segments in TGR?)

Sage to Atomic
Ian to Volkl

Look for more Rossi athletes in Level 1 next year.

No offense, but I don't really buy into this. There are so many riders and so few sponsors in TGR's movies...it would be ridiculous to blackmail riders because their sponsors will no longer support TGR.

Rumors of Rossi's financial situation have been circling for a couple of winters now, I'm more inclined to think this has something to do with Sage, Andreas & the rest leaving.

i am pretty sure rossignol will never or at least anytime soon go under they have way to much market in the race and all mountain ski industry but their team is pretty much going down the drain

Thats pretty much the jist of it, except for the Seth part...his segment has nothing to do with that- Oakley is a big supporter of TGR.

But yeah, Atomic is stacked with their big mountain dudes (aside from the rest of the powerhouse team) Dana Flahr, I-Mac, and now Sage. I wonder how well it will translate into ski sales?

bindings arent solely for freeride though. and their race program still kills it. its just their freeride division thats hurtin. well i dont know that they are, but ive got to think they are

I imagine their freeride department isn't doing too hot, but its little known on here that Rossi dropped Lindsey Vonn, arguably the greatest American racer in awhile, in July. Dropping a high profile athlete less than a year before the Olympics? Doesn't sound like a smart business decision to me.

redbull is their main sponsor, i have a feeling redbull threatened to yank their sponsor money if they showed someone with rockstar gear on.

and when you think about how much msp blows on a film every year, (huuuuuge heli budget, best cameras, etc) they need the big money sponsors like redbull. its sad yes, but the fact of the matter is without sponsors like reebull willing to throw that kind of cash around, movies like that wouldnt happen.

pretty sure she went over to Head.. Unless Bode recently changed he is on Head as well. (a couple of American power houses)

however 2 weekends ago at Snowbird there was a college race going on while i was there. and just about EVERY racer there had the new Rossi WC skis.

i still love my Rossi skis.

ok rossi has some of the dopest shit out there but they over price their shit way to much. there is not really enough hype around the company anymore. having said all that i really hope they dont fold because they are a great edition to the industry wether is park or freeskiing they make great equipment. good for atomic tho they are donig awesomr and their team is killing it. going to be wierd for sage to ride someone elses pro model tho. i bet you for the 2011 season we see sage with his own promodel.

this could be true, but tj and colby also have had a substancial part in the last 3 movies put out by msp, wouldnt you think that they would drop tj and colby along with sammy if energy drink sponsors dictated who was in the movie. also sarah burke rides for monster as well, and i remember seeing plenty of monster logos when she had segments.
