I hate to ramble on about my life story. But i feel that it will help with my situitation.
Alright so before last year i was a pretty talented snow boarder, I was 13 and doing 540's and some pretty impressive stuff. Giving the fact that my crew (cousins, a couple friends) all ski. They get mad when i had to strap in and they had to wait.. So I decided to go back to skiing. Before now i skied for about 3 years. (7-10yr old?). Ever since the i boarded. Now I'm really starting to get a hang of skiing. About last year i bought a pair of 2007 k2 fujatives. All i can do is pretty basic stuff. Forgive me i'll try to describe trick for you; boot tap, 180 both ways, spread eagle, butter a box, and some other little things on boxs that look hard but are actually easy. (This is my first full yr skiing)
I want to try to excel and get better. and do some more advanced tricks. Can you guys tell me what you did when you first started and how you slowly progressed to where you are now. i made a jump in my suburban fenced in backyard. awful small jump. i get speed by going off my playhouse slide that is about 7 or 8 feet of the ground. I practice out back about everydday after school. but when i try to do new things they just wont come to me. i usually ski for a solid 12-9 on saturdays at my local ski area. What can i do to get better! help!
