I'm not trying to make another pointless thread just trying to help NS out...I have seen threads on people trying to convert youtube to mp3 and most of them don't work very well. www.dirpy.com is a really good website to rip audio off of youtube. super fast and simple and the quality is always good. post up any other website you know of that work for you

Go on CnetDownloads.com and download VDownloader. It works the best for sure. You can download as many songs at a time as you want and its super fast. Just copy the html and it downloads it. Heres the link

audio hijack pro if you have a mac.  you can rip great quality audio from any application on your computer.

download freecorder.

it just records whatever is coming out of your speakers. so as long as you can find somewhere to hear the song you can download it. youtube quality is normally shit anyway.

not a youtube to MP3 but if you find a hilarious or sick video that you want to watch on your ipod later just simply take the link, replace the "y" in "youtube" with the number 3 (3outube) and keep all the other jargon at the end of the link, and hit enter. it will automatically download the video as an MP4

it works in firefox for me, havnt really tried on any other browser. it links you to another webstie, so it should work on any browser

i was going to make a thread on this, so good thing i always google first! anyway, http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ is super fast and there aren't any popup ads, however, the last few songs i downloaded from it i got a message like this when i tried to put it on my ipod:

why?
this is more of an itunes thing than a music downloading thing, but i'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else. every other site i try to download from makes me click several times and opens a shit ton of ads, but i will definitely be checking out all of the aforposted sites except dirpy because i think it's still dead.

Add-Ons always bring problems with them once you update the browser.

Easiest method: ClipGrab. It downloads and converts (if you wish) into every popular format. Easy to use (asks you if you want to convert if you copy a youtube link to clipboard) and fast. No better way imo.

I'm just as confused as you but maybe one of these helps? if not search around on google a bit, that's usually what i do when I have computer problems and i can usually figure out why things aren't working.

I use a youtube to mp3 converter that i downloaded from a http://www.freeyoutubetomp3converter.org few days ago. it is quite good, convert videos to mp3 fast and gives good quality. and it is absolutely free. so maybe it can help you.
