Kicker construction

Water, salt, waiting, building the kicker out of snow "bricks" that you cut out from the more packed areas instead of just showeling a big pile of snow.

aright, ya should i just throw a lttle water over the top of it and pack it a little or just let it set?

Just pack that shit as hard as you can, water it well, drizzle some salt on it and maybe some pepper if your feeling frisky, and wait for at least 30 minutes if you can hold that long, preferably over night if you want this thing to last for a while.

Dig deeper. Try to get to a layer of ice or hardpack to cut blocks out.

I just shovel as much snow as i could. Than i beat the shit out of that pile of snow till it's compacted as hell. And let it settle for the night. Usually works. But water and salt would help a whole lot.

If you can, find a piece of plywood, or anything simillar. And build a kicker with it. I nailed some wood i found. Than just pile up some snow under and over it, and since you got a good solid wooden base, no need to pack.

The last technique was used for my rail. The kicker is small, but efficient.

I don't know if you can see the kicker very well, but you can see the plywood under there, popping out just a bit.

Btw, my technique is VERY amateur-ish...

Ya im gonna dig some blocks tomorrow. ill post a picture of this thing when it is finished it is already shoulder high. no water yet though, and post pics of your own booters if you got em.

i have like a 14 foot rail that i built a nice kick onto that came out pretty solid from just beating the hell out of it
