Cascade Mountain will be hosting Friday Night Rail Jams every Friday night for the next 8 weeks starting this Friday, the 8th. These aren't competitions... they are simply a reason to go out and session with some friends and win some product. There is no 1st, 2nd, or 3rd being awarded. At the end of the night (each jam will last probably about an hour or so) there will be a raffle and everyone who entered will get a raffle ticket. Each night we have different sponsors and each night we will be giving away about $500 worth of product. The cost is $35 for all 8 rail jams or $10 for each individual night. You can register at the Tech Shop in the Rental Building at anytime, but registration for the Rail Jam the night of the event will end at 5:30 pm. You will be able to get the $35 deal until there are 4 weeks left, then it's $10 a night for the last 3 weeks. The rail jams will occur at 6 pm every friday night at a fenced off feature in either the Rail Yard or the North Park... there will be a different feature every friday and we might even unveil a couple new features on these friday nights. Skiers and riders WILL have to fill out a Cascade Mountain Competition Release of Liability to participate. To do this, you must be 18 or have a legal parent or guardian's signature. You can download this waiver form on our website at www.cascademountain .com or pick one up on the night of the rail jam. Helmets will be required to participate... NO EXCEPTIONS! These should be some pretty fun and laid back events... if anyone remembers the Oakley's Big Day Out at Cascade a few years ago it is going to be similar to that. We have talked about possibly doing a best trick prize for each night, so that there is some incentive to throw down, but I can't guarantee that will happen. So come check it out and here's a list of the sponsors for each night.... we have $4,000 worth of product the give away the next 8 weeks... so for $35 bucks you have a pretty good chance of walking away with something!
