Another HD camera question.

So here is the deal, I have $390 of Best Buy store credit at my disposal. I would like a good HD camera, but they don't seem to have the best options. Obviously the Canon HV40 is my first choice, but I can't afford the $1000 price tag and (online at least) they don't carry any of the cameras in the HV line.

I am really against a harddrive based camera from what I've heard, but I'm looking into some flash memory cameras. Here are the two I'm looking at currently:



Leaning towards the Canon, but it's a little more than I was wanting to spend. So NS I'm leaving it up to you to find me a decent camera.
Here are only two requirements:

2. $800 max. I realize that this isn't all that much, but budget is tight now a days.

*SIDENOTE*- If anyone would be interested in trading their HV30/20 for $390 to Best Buy plus some other cash on the side, PM me. We can definitely work something out.

If you don't  actually need to keep the best buy credit, I'd suggest putting it up on ebay where you could probably make at least 375 from it.  then use that money and you have more options

yeah, if somehow you sell the $390, you can find the hv40 online for like 720. i did, got it shipped 2 weeks ago. im loving it
