got talking to a friend of a friend and he gave me his company's web address saying as a skier id be interested, i just took a look. Turns out its HUD in googles for piste maps, phone calls, sms, speed, height and time using GPS and projection! Take a look! http://www.reconinstruments.com/

last time it was posted people said it would be useful for big jumps ie knowing speed needed etc.

but i would not say no to a free pair, would be rather fun comping off with your mates on max speed hight etc...

Well....its only easier than doing it while driving stick I guess, its pretty easy to roll a j while driving automatic and I guess its a little harder on skis because of the wind.

i would like that just so i could have speed contests with my friends all day.

other than that... i generally shred so i can get AWAY from my e-mail, my cell phone, text messaging ETC. why the fuck would i want to have it follow me around?

Does anyone else think that this seems like an awful idea? I mean it's like texting and driving, but your constantly surrounded by other people, trees, and obstacles. Seems like a recipe for disaster to me.

 iif this stuff actually works accurately and in a non obtrusive way then I think its a sweet idea especially when dialing in speed for bigger hits or gauging how big a cliff will be
