So Friday I went up to Blue Mt. like I do every other day. The ski patrol at Blue Mt. are the most cocky people who think they are badass, so we know not to do anything with ski patrol around and respect them or they'll pull our pass (except the few park skiers on patrol, they're pretty chill.) So on Friday I'm on our one trail connector (blue square) that goes horizontal across the mountain and has trail merging off of it. So I'm rollin along at a speed that is acceptable for a blue square, and I'm about five feet behind a kid and his dad going about the same speed. Forgot this, Connector is a trail thats only about 7 feet wide. SO they get to the trail they want to go on and stop in the middle of connector (supposed to merge off then stop) and I swerve around em and say "woah" and the kid goes "SLOW DOWN" and I yell back "You have to look if your going to stop in the middle of a trail!"
So I ski over to the terrain park thinking it's all over then ski down heading to the bottom of the mountain and all of a sudden, he pops out where his trail ended and cut me off saying "Stop you little fucker" and proceeded to bitch at me because I said "You have to look if your going to stop in the middle of a trail!" I just ignore him and go to the bottom of the trail where I am met by ski patrol because someone on the lift heard the guy yelling. They say wait here until the other guy gets down here. e's like 40 so they get his story first. According to him, I told his son to "Watch the fuck out or I'll kick your ass." So they don't even ask for my story and they start bitching me out and then an old ski patroller skis down and they tell him what's going on and he walks over to me and says "If I ever here you talk that way on this mountain I will throw your ass off myself." I have a g suit and I hear them say, "remember his clothing guys, keep an eye out for him.", and they lecture me for another five minutes.
Screw Blue Mountain, I'm skiing at Boulder next year.
