So my ski brake popped off when i landed switch i still have the screw and everything just can't connect it back to the binding. There are three little hooks and i can't connect them. any help?
I had this same problem. First make sure the plastic around where the brake would go isnt bent or in the way at all. Then make sure you didnt flatten out the metal hooks when you landed. I did and it took me a while to bend them back to normal. If you did just use needle nose plyers and bend them back. Try not to bend too much or youl break them Like i did. It still works fine though
The steel piece that the brake sits on and extends out of the back of the heel piece can get replaced if you have a spare/old set. Some of my old ones cracked in several pieces so I hammered it out and slid in a new one off of an old set of bindings from our rental shop. Lots of compatible stuff in rossi/dynastar/look bindings.
fixed it! thanks for the help guys. it was a combination of flattened hooks and the screw to attach it to the binding was down and it was hitting the raised up part of the hole!
