Cd keys for ableton

does anyone have cd keys for ableton live? i dont have mine anymore and just got a new computer. cant seem to find any that work. any help would be much appreciated

what version of ableton do you have and what kind of machine are you running on?  either way, if you don't have version 8 yet i would just find a version of that on the net.  i can point you to a few places if you need help.  version 8 is so intuitive and if you have an apple machine there is a cracked version that works perfect and comes cracked with MaxForLive which is ridiculous.

dude fuck you. save some money and buy a student version. It is a really legit company that supports its user base, and when people steal shit like this it hurts their ability to continue the quality of service and updates and developments that they offer. go steal the new mac os or windows, but leave the small software developers alone

You might want to reread what he said. He said he lost his old cd key.

He could either have stolen the first one, which I guess your argument would be valid, but kind of stupid since you are making extreme assumptions as to what he is doing with it. The other possibility is that he purchased Ableton legitimately and he lost the key so he is just asking for a new one so he doesn't have to purchase Ableton all over again. Or bother contacting them and proving he bought a copy and just lost his old one.

But you're a dick either way.

he didn't buy it. if you own it, just log into your account on ableton.com and it has all your cd keys listed. If you need ableton, or cubase or any music software that costs money, buy it. if all you need is simple software, there are plenty of free or low cost options out there.

not to mention that most of them have student pricing that is usually 50% off retail. even if you aren't a student, you can easily find someone hwo is to buy it for you
