I just got some anthems that have been mounted twice for a 28.5 boot with jesters and then mounted again for px 12's. i now have griffons and a 28.5 boot. will those old binding holes be a problem?

arent griffon and jester mounting patterns the same? i belive you can just mount in the old jester holes if they were sealed properly after they were taken out?

ya i was worried that the pullout strength would be super weak if you use the same mounting holes.

this, its actually better for the ski to utilize pre-existing holes, but they need to be sealed correctley first. if the sealer(?) used skiserts which are basically plastic plugs, or something like a golf tee it should be fine.
good luck

anything really, as long as water was not allowed to get in. mine have always been epoxied after remounts.
if not you can flip your skis and mount them backwards since they are symmetrical and will ride the same

new problem. the old jester holes are stripped so the idea of using the same holes is out.

I think your only option would be to have the old Jester holes heli-coiled. 4 mounts = 8 sets = approx. 32 holes in each ski, that's alot.

ya we put helicoils in i was told helicoils are stronger than traditional ski to binding mounts. so basically there is only 2 overall binding mounts. i had to take them in though so i didnt end up mounting them myself.
