Full Tilt Sizing Question

I am looking at getting some FT Bumble bee's from a member on here, and I am wondering if the size will be too big. I wear a 10/10.5 shoe, and the boots are 29. They have the intuition liner, he said that would help with the size difference. I don't know if I will drown in these or not, considering I have 27.5 shoguns that are too big for me. I have heard the suggestions that you should buy boots that are 1 size smaller than your shoe size. I need help before I move any farther with these boots!

I have tried them on, but the closest dealer of FT in MI is like 3 hours away

i think its too big. i cant be sure but normally you wear a shoe that is a comfortable roomy fit. a boot is supposed to be a continuation of your foot, so the correct size is key. i also wear a 10.5 shoe and ski in a 28 hotdogger. the intuition liner might help a little because it expands when heat molded but it will quickly get packed out.

sorry if that cost the other member the sale but it most likley will not be the right fit and therefore a bad thing to buy.

like the guy above me said, going to a bootfitter or just a shop with multiple sizes of these boots would be a good idea. remember full tilts will not fit everyones foot and having a boot that fits wrong can cause shin bang, foot cramps and other nasty things.

The boot will be too big... I learned the hard way. Bought 27.5 cause they were my right size. Sold them thinking they were too small but they actually wernt. Bought 28.5 (I wear a 9.5 shoe) Been skiing them wondering why my heels kept sliding half way out of my boots and my  shins were getting really sore. Just sold my 28.5 and going back to a 27.5

That might be a little bit confusing but i hope you got it. If you have the chance try them on first

I wear the same size shoes as you.
I ski 318mm (28) Raichle Flexons with sz 28.0 Intuition Powerwraps,
It is the same boot as the Fulltilts. I tried on a 27.0 Booter at the shop the other day,
There was less than 1 finger space on the shell, with my boots, i have about 1.5 fingers of space.
The 29 will be way to big for you, you could probably fit into a 27.5 boot, 28 would be fine too,
a 28.5 will probably be too big on you also.

28 and 28.5 are the same size just thicker/thinner liner...

I wear a size 10 shoe and have 27.5 FT Booters. Dont get 29 or I will personally steal them from you.

i know its the same shell size, from my experience with intuitions, they wont fill up extra space that well,
with the bigger liner, he'll probably have a looser heel pocket and too much room in general.

If you are in a 27.5 Shogun that is too big, a 29 FT will be incredibly huge and sloppy on your foot.  Don't get them.
