Help with composite decking as a better sliding surface

I was wondering if anyone had an idea how you get that trex stuff and composite decking to slide better.  Sanding it??? Waxing it???? or what else???

also what side should be up the one with the wood grain look showing or the one with the flatter surface?? i know it seems obvious to have the side with the flat but the other one slides nice too.

I've got a box in my backyard with composite and we put it rough side up and it slides fine. Maybe just throw some snow on it. Mine works fine and I haven't had to do anything to it.

Only sand it if theres rough patches or such like, if not chuck anything that will reduce the friction..wax, dish soap whatever.

i realize this doesnt help, but every time ive hit a street rail made of that composite stuff it slid perfectly. i guess it was just a different type, or maybe just that it was so cold

maybe Vaseline or Crisco or something similar.

LAst night i was like fuck it so i drilled it on rough side up and it worked fine

wen i was trying to decide which side to uise i hadnt screwed it on so now its fine.
