A quick word on blocking ads

I am considering making one of these, having a few friends over, and seeing what happens. I think it would be a cool thing to try with friends for a night and see what its like. Just wondering if anyone has either made one before and has tips or has experienced one. I saw that some people make goggles but thats not really what I would want to do, cause I want it to be with a group of people.
