Replying to Anyone good with Shakespeare?

I really hate using NS for homework help, but im a little stuck on an essay topic.

Backround: You see, I need to do well on this essay or i might be in a little trouble with my english mark. It's not that im a bad writer( im fairly good) its the fact that its shakespear. It's a forgeign language to me, im one of the stronger readers i know yet i cant understand shakespeare, i will read over and over and over but the elizabithean english is hard for me to grasp. Even the dumb kids in my class understand whats going on while im pretty much lost.

Now to the point, i have this essay on Macbeth do by monday ( has to be done no matter what ) and im having a little trouble structuring my essay. The topic is "Macbeth is not a tragedy according to aristotles or other classice definitions, prove or disprove this statement"

The plan is too disprove the statement but im having a hard time finding a points to do so. My two points are that Macbeth is the quint-essential tragic hero( only strong point) and that macbeth follows a "witchs hat diagram" which is typical of a shakespearean tragedy ( or so i was taught ) http://www.wonderhowto.com/images/gfx/gallery/633892478628908336.jpg

Also, for one point could i say macbeth is a tragic hero, then for another explain how the fact that macbeth is responsible for his own downfall makes the play a tragedy, even though being responsible for your own downfall is one of the criteria which makes him a tragic hero in the first place which would be going back to the first point.

HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED( also if i dont finish this, or the majority of it, tonight i cant go skiing tomorrow and its been snowing non-stop for the past 2 days)
