What's the best attribute about your home mountain?

so, I search bared and I DID find a similar thread: https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/466931/

but, I'm going to create a new one anyways. I just want to know what you think is the best part of your home mountain. I find it's way too easy to find faults, and NS loves bitching about what's wrong, so I'm not allowing you to have the option.

So yea, lets hear it, what mountain do you call your own, and what do you love most about it. NO BITCHING ABOUT WHAT SUCKS!



I myself, call Red Mountain, BC home, and what I love most is that fact that it has all aspects to ski on, so no matter which direction a storm comes from you'll always find good snow if you know where to go. Combine that with all the trees and you have some really really good inbounds pow turns for days after the storm.

nashoba valley has a nice 240ft vertical.

Dagmar Ski resort


decent food in cafeteria

the best doughnuts ive ever had


and the park is probably the best in the area and this you could say it rivals some of the bigger resort parks in ontario

beautiful ski sundown CT. great park for skiiers and boarders, park crew is sick and is always changing stuff up. sick place for sure.

Red Mountain:

When it is open until 5 in March and Im the only one skiing (pow), being able to ski home, nachoes in rafters with staff discount.

oh and steep trees are cool too.

dodge ridge. closest to home, even though it's almost 2 hours. been skiing there since i was 3 so i know the place like the back of my hand. my friends and i know all the hidden gems on pow days, i almost always see someone i know, the lifties remember me and give me high fives, and we have a really fun bowl in the back with pillows and cliffs galore. and the new bathrooms are EPIC, i poop in them every day before i ski.

you can find some gnarly pillow lines in alpental bc. Oh and the park is pretty banger cause the features are super consistent. And i can ski pretty much any day i want to up there
