Beaver creek cliffs

anyone know of any other cliffs besides the ones in the chutes?

There is not nearly enough snow right now to open stone creek chutes :(

biggest cliffs at vail are under chair 4 (off zot) and right at the top of chair 11. there are also some big ones out in china bowl down from two elk lodge and in the trees if you explore off shangri-la glade. blue sky has a bunch and you can always just huck off the cornice for iron mask/lovers leap. there are plenty of smaller ones around the mountain too.

theres not really a lot of hucking to be had at beaver unless you're in the trees or ducking ropes.

what he said. beaver didn't have much in the way of cliff really

vail has quite a few - back bowls for sure

lovers leap was fun, but the landing is nearly always chewed up

head to vail to the back bowls - many a fun time to be found there!

i prefer bc cuz of stone creek chutes which vail has nothing like.

i hear vail gets sooo packed though best time to get there is am i guess?

yeah you can beat the crowds if catch first gondola up out of lionshead. but its going to be dead there this week. xmas to new years week is pretty much over and it'll be empty for the most part. shouldn't really be lift lines anywhere starting sunday or definitely monday.

Best cliffs in vail are chair four cliffs after zot, north rim, woods left and right of prima cornice, chicken yard, dragons teeth and around blue sky basin

Sacasm?  The Gondola is in Lionshead.  The only cliff on the lionshead side is the drop off the smoke shack in Bwana trees or I guess you could jump off the Bridge into Gore Creek.  All big drops are on the East side of the mountain.  Chair 11 and Pete's Bowl have the most.

DUDE. All of the epic terrain and snow is in Breck and Key. Vail and Beav only have park and pipe............

or go to beaver if you want no lines, and deep untracked snow. go to vail if you want long lines, annoying tourists, and tracked out lines. that being said i love both vail and bc

My favorites at Vail (I could be missing some):

Chair 11/4- Northwoods, North and South Rim, Powerline/Chair 4 Cliffs, Prima Cornice

Chair 2- I remember one run in the trees I think between Overeasy and Cold Feet with some pretty nice cliffs

Blue Sky- Skree Field, Steep and Deep, Iron Maskthere are some you can see from the chair around
Champagne/Montane Glade

China Bowl- Dragon's Teeth, Sweet and Sour

Sun Down- Seldom and everywhere around Seldom

Sun Up- Chicken Yard

I'm not as familiar with Siberia Bowl, but I know you can access Mushroom Bowl (I'm yet to ski it) from Siberia/Mongolia poma, which is sick apparently

This isn't everything, but these all have some really sick cliffs

you're all stupid.  I took that first picture in stone creek, it's not vail.  Vail's cliffs are obvious.  Beave's cliffs are for locals who know where to go.  go have fun in the crowds  of vail.

There are some pretty sizable drops if you know where to go at Vail man... Granted a few are out of bounds, but you can definitely find stuff to scare yourself on in bounds if you know where to go. There's a 40'+ that lies in wait a bit out of bounds in a certain area after you duck a certain rope.

the cliff directly under northwood chair at the top is super fun if you send it off the top. there're also a few bands in the trees so you can rip through the trees, huck, take 5 more tuns, huck again. there're little cliffs scattered all over vail but beaver creek sucks
