Replying to Help with Internet Connection INSCENTIVES!

Alright, so NS I NEED YOUR HELP!

I love gaming online with my Xbox 360. Although, the past 7 months I've been noticing HUGE lag spikes when connecting through a wire to my Netgear WGR614 router. It's so FUCKING FRUSTRATING because I lag out of NEARLY EVERY GAME!  It's unbearable anymore, so I've come to you for help. If someone helps me fix my connection I will send them 5 bucks and a shit ton of stickers.

I have a Netgear WGR614 router.

I connect through a wire from the router to Xbox

I have CONSTANT lag spikes, that lag me out of the game

I have tried unplugging the router, same problem.

I have tried connecting to the Modem, same problem.

I have reset my modem and unplugged, same problem.

I have called my ISP Time Warner Cable, told me to reset my router and I'll be fine, same problem.

Someone please tell me how to fix this.
