I just started skiing my 182 Czars the last 4 times up and I will agree that these are definatly a stiffer ski that definatly wants to charge big time.. I was looking for a playfull fun pow ski, and I kinda Missed with the Czars.. They float really well in pow but are chargers.. they eat shit up like nothing other.. pretty inspiring to make you ski crud faster and better then you thought you could..
but on any kind of groomed you really have to work to get them to go where you want.. you are either sliding them around or working the edges really hard.. due to the lack of side cut.. I can get them to go where I want.. they just take some convincing.. I have flipped mine and they definatly are big to flip compaired to my 181 Pipecleaners, havnt spun them much so no real opinion there..
If you are looking for a pure pow ski that floats very well, and charges and busts crud well then the Czars are a great option, however if you are looking to take to the park and groomers as well then I would Imagine that a more playfull softer ski like the Obsethed would be a more fun ski..
