"God" is bi-polar

What if there wasnt a seperate "God" and "Satan", but rather one really weird fictional entity that was bi-polar or had split personalities?

Wouldn't that then support my theory? One entity with multiple (hundreds, if not thousands) personalities (or Gods). Which also brings up the question: Could we call personalties Gods? We each have our own God, some are Christian, Hindu, etc. Would you consider their personalities more or less specific to their religion or "God"?

don't make it overly complicated; there can be one single 'God' concept that has unknowable particular features. Each person is left to interpret the particular features of a general perfect being (God) as they feel fit -- or as it helps them cope with the world.


because each person has a unique perspective as to who they are, and how they need to operate in the world, each interpretation of "God", including the personality (a particular feature) is unique.

Different religions spawn as humans have varied habitats, dealing with different natural patterns like weather and food source as well as conflicts that arise in the ego and minds of people (e.g. see formation of English church)


what i'm thinking is

having one idea of a perfect being interpreted by many is simpler than having many perfect beings actually created by each individual who believes in a God.

no one can deny that there is a human concept of God

The question of whether God exists is unprovable ipso facto faith

the former idea of many actual Gods or even A God jumps over and beyond that which is good enough to explain the phenomenon of belief; an interpretation of a concept of what a Perfect being is.
