Replying to Subaru help?
the setup: so for the past 4 days it has been 10 degrees. 2 days ago we got some snow and i was out driving in it. i let me car sit over night and the ice caked up real bad in the real wheel well, so when i took it out to drive the following night (last night) i could just hear how bad it was built up and it was scraping my tires. it doesn't affect performance but i really dont think it's a good idea to let that shit sit in there like that, so i parked it at wal mart, and poked and pried all that shit out. it was a bitch, sooo many huge ice chunks, it was awful. so this morning i drive it to sunday river and it seems to be fine but i still hear ice banging around in what i think is the wheel well. SOOO...
i think i might have possibly knocked ice when i was cleaning out the wheel well into something somewhere in my axle and its just banging around because whenever i push in the clutch (only sometimes though) i hear this scraping sound. i dont know what to do, i think i need to get under there and powerwash it, but its so cold i dont think it would do anything. i just need a day over 32 real quick to fix whatever it is.
any suggestions...
and i drive a 01 subaru outback wagon so if any of you guys have had similar problems get at me.
sparknotes: was cleaning caked on ice in my wheel well and i think i knocked a piece of ice somewhere i wasn't supposed to and i think its banging around because when i push in the clutch sometimes i hear a knocking or banging and sometimes i dont.
