Gopro Mounts are Beat

Anyone have trouble with them? they fall off all the time, maybe i just didnt read up but are you suppose to use epoxy ? just merely sticking it on doesnt seem to be strong enough to hold through my powerful skiing slashes

mine lasted alot until i landed on my head and knoked it off, but any bail but head it was fine for me

the head strap works pretty well and you can take it off when ever you want without leaving anything on ur helmet, but it does look pretty weird

Try cleaning off the area where you stick it with alcohol. But that's wierd that it's not holding. My buddy didn't clean or anything before sticking the mount on, and it's held up to hucks and going head first into the thick branches at the bottom of a tree.

mine clipped on a rope and broke the mount. amazingly my friend found it in the snow still recording. watch my taos and pajarito edit.

jep; i even cleaned it with acetone; partially dissolving my helmet :s
luckily i wiped it off fast enough to minimalize damage and create a nice rough patch for the mount...

for as far as i can tall it's bombproof!

yeah you should definitely clean any surface before applying any sort of sticky material. same goes for die-cut stickers etc.

You have to stick it on when its warm too.  It won't stick well if the helmet is cold.  I find that stuff always sticks better when you put it on a while before you will use it.  I put stickers on my skis back in the summer and then haven't fallen off my skis yet like ones I put on recently.  I use the strap mount on my helmet and it's pretty good.
