my cam is avchd, ive been shooting at 1080 60i, at school i have been using fcp and i love it and have gotten really use to it, im home now and dont have softwear that can handle avchd, ive been trying to torrent vegas or permiere and nothing is working, the only thing i was able to get is vegas 7, yes it can handle avchd but only for sony cams, i use panasonic...since i need to upload footage to vegas 7.0 from my cam i export it and save it as a MPEG2 file, this allowes me to open it threw 7, but i lose a ton of quality,
am i losing this quality becase i have to save threw MPEG2 or is it how im rendering it or something else, ive tried to render it so many different ways and the quality still sucks even at 720
does anyone have sugustions for how to use avchd or have a working torrent for vegas 8pro and up or premier pro cs4, or am i out of luck untill i get back to school
