NS Doctor, help me!

I'm on my second day of vacation at Mammoth right now, which I'm beyond stoked about because it's not a chance I get often. However, I see to have caught a nasty bug which makes me constantly vomit. I took a tiny bit of nyquil a few minutes ago because it was the only thing I could find, and I just threw that up. Drank some water during the night because I thought it would help and I threw that up. I must have puked 15 times over the night. I keep getting dry heaves, but I have nothing else to eject from my innards.
If you know about anything that you think might help, let me know.
I was beyond stoked to go skiing today, and now it's snowing out too. I'm going to go berserk.

it could be the Norwalk virus, i had it before and sounds kinda like your symptoms and shit sucks for sure.

i had the same thing happen at whistler last weekend. threw up half the night saturday after feeling fine all day then felt like throwing up at various times the rest of the trip. fuckin sucked. id say rest a day (even if it kills you not to ski) because i know it would have helped me. i should have done that and gotten my strength back to ski healthy instead of pushing it and skiing but not having much fun. normally skiing makes you feel better. but not for this. this also happened to me last spring break. has it happened to you before?

Maybe you have some altitude sickness?

But Pepto-Bismol is pretty solid for anything affecting your stomach/digestive system. Maybe try that? Some people hate the taste of it, I personally think it tastes fine.

Don't even want to take a guess at what you have, but here are some ways to prevent yourself from throwing up.

1. Go to the store and buy activated charcoal pills, take two.
2. You could try this:
a) Prepare peppermint tea and allow to cool.
b) Grate an onion and squeeze the pulp through a cheese cloth (if desperate, just use a paper towel). Make 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Onion Juice.
c) Hold your nose and swallow the onion juice.
d) Follow with just 1 Tablespoon of peppermint tea. Wait ten minutes. Take another Tablespoon of peppermint tea. Wait 15 minutes.

This remedy should stop vomiting within 15 minutes according to google.

apparantly candy canes prevent nausea, maybe try some mints?

my gf says ginger ale always helps

however your situation seems more serious than to be solved with candy canes and pop..

haha, Im in mammoth too and was not feeling well at all this morning.  After I got some sick runs in I started feeling a lot better.  I think you just need to take your  shred meds

Thanks for the advice everyone, I managed to sleep for most of the day after nausea subsided a little. I had some hot water with lemon juice in it which helped. Seems like it's probably a 24 hour bug with maybe a little altitude sickness. Now I just feel super weak and dehydrated. Seems like I should be able to ski tomorrow though.
