happened to me a few months ago. get your own box, print off the shipping label from the xbox website, and send it in. they fixed it and sent it back in like 9 days

What I post was completely relevant to the discussion going on in the thread, but I guess you are too stupid to read and comprehend what other people have posted. People said that PS3's online was shitty and I was merely pointing out the advantages of the PlayStation. Get your condescending head out of your own ass before you say shit like that to me again.

That's a good point for games that you play frequently, but still with movies and such the noise of the 360 just aggravates me. Sure Xbox does have its advantages (Halo) and I agree that the online interface is cleaner and easier to use, however, I would rather have a simple interface that is free.

I have had my xbox for 4 christmas's. I have been at home and able to play my xbox over the christmas break for 3 of them, those 3 years as soon as i turn my xbox on on the 28 of december it lets me get into one game, then freezes so i turn it off and turn it back on and boom, red ring of death. this year i also killed the blender trying to make a smoothie

i have come to the conclusion that the 28 of december is cursed and from now on i will not operate any electronics on the 28.

First off, the thread was pretty much about nothing, the OP says "Fuck my life" wow real inspiring. You feel the need to tell the entire NS community about the failure of your 360? You don't ask a single fucking question regarding what you should do, just a statement claiming what is a common occurrence on Xbox's...so fucking insightful.  And no, you didn't mention the PS3, because you didn't mention much of anything, other people did. That's a very clever quote alteration you did there, did you think of that all by yourself? Or did your mommy help you? The thread basically turned into a PS3 vs. 360 thread so I offered my 2 cents, hardly irrelevant.

I really never noticed what people say about ps3 online. Im always getting matches instantly no matter what game it is

and yes, i use to have a 360, three of them actually. All of them failed and I got sick of sending them back

If your 360 gets a red ring you get a new one for free. If your PS3 breaks your fucked. xbox costs money to play online so that they can put money into to make it better. that is all.

We have both here.....and Playstation wins by a mile. Better graphics, Blu ray, no breaking, quality of games. Its just the overall better system.

They kinda fucked up sooo bad with red ring of death that i heard they were just fixing them all for free even if warranty had expired. when they fix them now they have solved the problem with  a new graphics card and a thing called the "falcon chip" so it doesn't happen anymore.

my friend wrapped his up in towels and turned it on and let it get really hot. supposedly it "melts the solder on the wires" or some shit. he was able to bring it to gamestop and sell it back to them. i guess its worth a try if you're desperate. i have no fucking idea if it works or not.
