So basically last fall when sierraskis.com was selling a limited stock of the old black and gold fks i nabbed a pair for my new on3p jeronimos that were being made.
they are these. brand new, never mounted
well all was good and i was cleaning out the ski closest today at my parents house in preparation for moving to utah tomorrow and i stumbled upon my old race skis from back in the day mounted with these.
they say fs composite on them and look very similar to my fks. even if they aren't an fks they are 12 din turntable in good condition.
So my question is, is there any reason i shouldn't rip they "fs composite" bindings off my old race skis for my new skis and trade or sell the fks for some park skis that i despritly need? The only reason i wouldn't do it is because the "fs compostie's" have kind of this little riser type thing that seems like you cant take off that puts the binding at a small forward lean.
as you can see there is the big riser on bottom that can easily be removed, but the riser on top of that i'm not so sure about. and in the heel it kind of gives a small forward lean.
