who else wants the classic red/white Salomon g suit to be reincarnated?
maybe with enough support from the ski community (newschoolers) Salomon might take it into consideration

i want to say that mstrkrftskier did a paint job of the g suit in 4 or 5 different colors.  blue green purple black etc.

yeah but still, Salomon made it as a special edition/ limited edition suit. Once and done. If they were to make it again, it would just be like every other outerwear, every kid would have it.

yea not liking this idea then there would be way too many kids rocking g-suits and that would piss me off and I don't have one either just the idea of seeing lots of kids with it would make me angry

Couldn't you just buy an Oakley Air Raid suit in red and white and be just as satisfied. It's more waterproof, more comfrtable, and better all around in my opinion.

i have the airraid bibs and there wayy better than g suit, considering that the g suit has basically no water proofing, but it is still a sick suit, and i would love to see thos epics mrstskier

ive never gotten wet in my g-suit. i dont think people should go my the mm waterproof rating so much. its a little misleading

oakley outerwear is trash compared to salomon

i own the gsuit jacket, and the terrain jacket. the quality of the oakley is just so much worse when put next to that of salomon
granted i do not own the air raid suit, but i am willing to bet they are nearly the same

dont bring it back for the reasons already stated, i like it being "exclusive"

I personally like the air raid way more. It looks better, there is more choice in color and its better quality from what i see being said.

But I don't think they should bring back the G-suit, that would be kinda stupid in my opinion. It was here and its gone. I mean honestly who really gives flying fuck about weather or not they bring back a ski suit that cost a arm and a leg. Just move on children there will be more way better and nicer suits to come along.

The G suit should not be brought back. Even though i loved it i got sick of seeing everyone wearing it. They should just make something equally dope and people will probably like it more after seeing the air raid suit as well.

You are comparing a $400 jacket to a $200 jacket.  not really fair.

That being said, I think Simon's suit for next year is so sick. I've not really enjoyed the current color schemes (sorry, just not a big fan of red).  Might actually think about getting it.

In any case, there will be many suits for many years to come guys.  Don't worry about bringing back the old stuff.  There will always be new and innovative outerwear to drool over :)

not trying to be a douche just saying, and to the kid who said oakley is trash compared to salomon thats complete bullshit, yeah the g suit jacket has a few extra features a phone dialer and a goggle whipe air raids have 20k water proofing and there soooo warm its rediculous, your pretty much paying $100 - $200 extra for something thats the same if not worse than oakley

i like this idea. i understand that most of you dont want to bring it back.. but salomon should definately start getting into the "tall" and "steezy" outerwear. it seems like the magic suit is a little fat.

in any case..

the majority agrees that the g-suit should not be brought back, but that salomon should keep that idea flowing.
