Anybody else have weird habits while skiing?

i always take a lap through the park before i hit anything just to see whats up. do you guys have any habits skiing?

Before any hit i have to speed check at least once no matter what.  5 foot jump or a 40 foot jump i need to speed check once.

haha this is a funny thread. when i'm skiing pow, im always screaming out loud, " woohooo, cheaa, this is so sick, yeaaah" and stuff like that. i get a lot of funny looks

I take my goggles off every chairlift ride. I'd do it when absolutely necessary, but it slowly turned into something I do every time. As soon as I get to the queue at the lift I take my goggle off, put them in their bag and in my pocket - before loosening my boots. Depending on the chair I'm on, I'll either put them on just before hitting the top (with the wind and whatnot), or I'll wait till I get off the chair and put them on just before I go for my run.

I hate fog, and if I'm careful about it, this is the best way to insure clear goggles. It's either that or have a bag of backups at the lift.

Before hitting a rail i slap my skis on the ground to get the snow off, and if i have snow on my skis i have a higher chance of messing up.

End of each run ALWAYS un buckle my boots but leave the strap. Not really a habit I guess since I'm in a ongoing battle for comfort with my boots and it's a must to survive the day.

Start of each run I tap my poles together once, push down my helmet and then pop into switch (even if it's only to revert a few feet later).

people are going to think i am retarded but i always ski with two bags of Lipton tea in my left pocket and every time i learn a new trick i will drink one (usually one is broken) and if i ski badly i toss em i don't know why but when i drink the tea it feels like i put the trick into my body and after i drink it i will be able to do it forever

i sing while i ride , or i just mouth the lyrics to the music in my headphones.

i drop every combination of swearwords i know whenever i hit any kind of feature. even if i stomp the trick perfectly. especially on rails.

i wave my arms before i drop into the park or a big feature.. not like a "kello" wave.. but i lift my arms up to just under my shoulders and then drop them down and swing them across each other.... like somebody might do in a rap video or something. i have no idea why i do it.

i also smile the whole day, and laugh, for no reason, and i squint my eyes at a feature one at a time the first few times i hit it.

holy fuck i do that exact same thing. and someone else also said they pull their pants up and push their helmet down... fuckkk i do that too!!! damn! i also make motorcycle noises when i mini-tuck... just a weird lil thing.. i guess i do it to let people know im coming and also its fun to think you're a motorcycle on an open highway just goin...

haha. i always adjust my junk at the top of the lift. Like, my boxers/snow pants/either basketball shorts or sweatpants.

i hate when the gooch area gets too cramped.

i sometimes sing while i'm skiing fast or just do ridiculous shit when i'm skiing under the lift, like pretend to ski incredibly out of control straight towards a lift pole and then yell "oh jeez" and turn at the last second. one time somebody even screamed from the chair because she thought i was gonna end myself
in bumps i'll also pull a radio ron "derp" while i'm skiing under the lift
also sometimes under the lift i'll get my pants just so they are barely staying on and then hit a roller, land hard, and have my pants fall down

same.  instead of "Whoa" or "shit" i make a braww sound, as if a bird was hit by a car. 

that and my left binding will usually pre-release on every 10th feature i hit.  or if not the tenth then at the worst possible moment, like at the lip of a jump.

Also, on the lifts, I love to say hi to people and wave like crazy to people.

Doesn't matter, they can't recognized me (Goggles, facemask/bandana, etc)

Always left ski on first.

Undo my bottom buckle before getting on the lift and do it back up at the top

Adjust my jacket's zipper 1 million times before dropping into anything big/that I'm nervous about

Wave my left pole over my shoulder a couple of times before dropping in

Shouting 'AhhhhhhFuckit!' really loudly if I knuckle...

and i always pull my pants up before hitting a jump even if they dont need to be pulled up. along with adjusting my goggles
