Anybody else have weird habits while skiing?

i always take a lap through the park before i hit anything just to see whats up. do you guys have any habits skiing?

never everrr say this is my last run and then do difficult stuff in the park. superstitious habit but it comes from me eating it mountain biking, in the jump park, always on the last run of the day :P

To the thread creator, thats just being smart and not weird at all. Me, I always chew on the edge of my season pass, I was thinking about saying I always have to chew on something but then I knew the storm of immature jokes would come. Not that I wouldnt make those exact same comments!

i talk/sing to myself very loudly when i'm going fast.... and when i'm cruisin down some harsh/bumpy run i say every swear word i can even if i'm not iin any immediate danger

I usually take a lap to scope everything out too, except for like really small features that I know I'm not going to hurt myself on.

I have the habit of carving 420 into the snow with my poles when I'm really high. Sometimes I try to see how many I can put on the mountain in a day. I don't know why you wouldn't use poles haha.

Before every jib hit I lift each ski up one at a time and tap the tails to the ground to shake off all the loose snow resting on top sheets

Whenever I'm in the air, be it a jump or a cliff, I usually have my mouth open, tongue sticking out. This applies to mountain biking as well... But I'm starting to get better about it. I know it is dangerous for my tongue... I'm trying to break that habit.

That's about it... I guess I also have a habit of being careful when I get on the lift, either until the pussy bar comes down, or until it is clear it won't come down. Nothing is worse than getting smacked in the head by the bar, except a few other things that might be worse.

I yell HOLY SHIT!! every time i hit a jump and go bigger than expected. I get a lot of attention when i ski under the chairlift. and i sing when i ski fast or recklessly

Right ski goes on first, then the left ski. Left ski is always downhill when I'm waiting to hit something. No calling last run. Think that's about it.

im always doing little things, many have been mentioned but ones that come to mind include:
lifting up pants
adjusting goggles and helmet
tapping poles and fixing gloves
kicking snow of skis

im sure theres other things i do but just dont notice them

i ALWAYS smile when im skiing.  in an hour or two i notice it when make jaw starts to hurt and im always wearing a bandanna so my friends cant tell

Can't believe i have the same tendencies as so many people. I have my poles marked by a scratch or some left over adhesive where a sticker used to be so i can tell my poles apart because i have a left and a right.

Never call last run.

Three pole clicks behind me when I'm lining up something that I'm not totally sure of.

I also have this habit of skiing fresh snow, which may be bordering on an obsession.
