jep, you'll need atleast a class 4 SD card, preferably kingston, size around 16gig is more than enough !
(i'm currently using two 2gig cards and it works perfectly for me! )

Look around online. The hd gopro i got ordered from whatever site (i forget) they included a 4gb card for the same price gopro sells cam only and it works great.

I didnt get the HD version but mine didnt come with a memory card or batteries

I got a class 6 16 gig for just under $40 shipped on ebay. A little extra money compared to getting 2gigs, but well worth not worrying about your card filling up.
