the hydrollic feature is sick, but whats the point of it? like yeah lets raise it 2 more feet, but at the height of it right now its perfect for it? Idk regardless its a sick feature!
Meh. I hit it a three times a few weeks ago, and decided it kinda sucks. It's just not designed for skiers (at least with skis longer than 140cm). The transition to the walls is so sharp that it's almost impossible to keep your skis from sliding apart if you're carrying enough speed to jib the log on top. The narrow, oddly angled lexan walls also inhibits carving off or landing easily back on the walls, and the landing on the other side is totally flat. It would be a pretty cool feature if they got rid of the lexan walls, but as it is most people just hit it like a tiny wallride.
so your agreeing with me? i didnt say anything about carving into this feature. just because you cant do a pretzel or a kfed on a park feature doesnt mean its a useless feature, try something different for once.
lol at the all kid kids scream skiers arent creative.
that thing looks pointless as fuck, and has no creativity, its designed so you can go stall on top, which is what 95% of the shots were.. soooo wheres the creativity in that?
Creative because I haven't seen a feature like that before. Sounds like you're refering to the lack of creativity as in the tricks those snowboarders were doing over and over. Like I said, I'd like to see some good skiers hit that thing, I'm sure lots of different things could be done on it.
yea i agree, been riding there a number of times sinces its been there and is not conducive to skiing at all. its like a __/ flat to steep lexan and that transition fucks you
maybe if they put that on a pedestal so you could actually have transition both ways it would be sick, but it needs transition up and down.
Someone on the lift was telling me there were a bunch of people on the MH forums hating on that and on Cronk, saying he can only backside 180 and shit. So I guess he went on and made a post saying yeah what up woooo come ride with me at mt high, yeeeah, "and to all you haters, thanks for makin my dough stack!"
Actually looks like it has the potential to be pretty cool. If it were just one big sheet of ptex at the same angle, it could make for some really sweet butters on and spins back off. Like others have said, it would be really cool if it were on a pedestal too with super smooth tranys.
