No they wouldn't.
it might a little, because the plates are long(ish) just like demo bindings, but its only a few centimeters.
all skis have a "dead" spot underfoot because ski boots dont flex. thats why you need to crank on your nose and tails when buttering. i dont think the plastic plates will do too much, unless you have a really short ski
