so today my family was trying to fly to atlanta so we could go see our family down south. We were leaving out of portland me, and it was snowing just a little bit. So we get on the plane and then after about 30 minutes, the flight attendant comes on the speaker and says, okay everybody, the plane is 8000 pounds over weight. We need some people to get off. They actually made about 40 out of 70 people get off the plane. Well i wasn't one of those people, but my parents got called, so me and my brother went with them and are now still in maine.
The reason the plane was 8000 pounds overweight was because they had to add de-iceing gear, which would be understandable, but they new it was gonna snow at least a day ago. HOW DO THEY NOT ACCOUNT FOR 8000 POUNDS.
