I want a lot of peripheral vision out of my goggles. Im looking at the Crowbars and the Splices and i want to know if the Splices actually have more peripheral vision or if the Crowbars are just as good.
i find that crowbars have better up and down vision but splices have better left to right vision. I have crowbars and have worn splices and i prefer crowbars. hope that helps.
yeah it does. on their website they say the Spices "optimize" downward vision and i was like "well optimizing doesnt mean they are better than say, the crowbars, it just means they are "optimized for its own design" i needed some conformation. thanks
this is true, except i find the splices fit better on my face, they put very little pressure on the bridge of the nose i like them better than the c-bars
EG2s are pretty sick. Just make sure you try them on before buying, I had EG2s and they were wayy too big for my face, and they fogged up all the time. My crowbars never fog up
thanks guys. Do you think the crowbars will fit with the smith variant brim helmet? I like all the customizing you can do and i just plain love a nice pair of Oaks.
In my opinion, splices look like complete shit in pictures, but in real life they are the sickest things. There is a kid at my mountain with the Dumont splices, they are so sick. I can't wait for mine to come. I tried on a pair like 2 months ago and they were so sick.
Hands down, if you want vision. EG2. If you wear them right they can also be steezier than Crowbars/Splices. God, I love them, I'm saving up for some tricked out EG2's.
Splices and crowbars are excellent goggles anyway you look at it. EG2's aint to bad either. But the electric goggles have sizes, .5 and .5s are for smaller faces, 1 and 1s are for a bit bigger of a face, and 2s are for very large faces. So the eg2s can have gaps between ppl's faces and the padding leaving room for moist air from your breath to creep in easily which is why they fog up, but if they fit you they wont fog up.
