Boot sole

if i have a 335mm boot sole and im buying some skis that are mounted for a 305mm boot, they guy said he can move the heel peice back and there is about an inch of room will my boot fit in there or will i have to get a mount

3cm is a lot.... you will most likely have to get a remount.
