what i cant understand is how to make the pipe flush with the poly. im thinking of making an 2 by 10ft outer rail with 2in pipe lay the pipe on the floor and place the poly down in the center then cut 6 or so pieces of angle iron in 2ft strips, lay the angle iron on top of the ploy and tack the iron to the pipe, just like a ladder so when you flip everything over the poly's flush with the pipe and ready to screw down. is this how they are in the park ? and do the have plywood under the poly to screw the ploy to the plywood or just to the angle iron?
i dont really understand your question, but boxes that you see in the park don't have the metal on the outside flush with the polly, its a little bit above i dont think it has to be perfectly flush
thanks yoopers, dose the Plate steel run the with of the box or just 2in of the pipe or so? and say the poly 1/8 tick do you use a 1/8 steel templet ? cuz the poly would burn if i taced the plate steel in place.
I think that running the plate widthwise across the box, so if the box is one foot wide, use a 1 inch by 1 foot piece, the weld your legs to the middle of said piece.
Colors are same as last time, except green = legs, and you would weld the leg in the middle.
