yeah iMovie should get the job done. unless you didn't buy iLife.

iMovie is definitely compatible with the GoPro HD for importing. not sure about final cut express

final cut express is a nice program. if for some reason you have problems importing the clips directly from the camera you should be able to import them using iMovie and then you can import those files into final cut express since they will already be on your computer

you can import mp4 files straight into final cut, no problems at all.

How? My final cut express complains about not being able to import gopro mp4 files and I have to convert them to a dv stream with stream mpeg.
