i JuST goT BRAND NEW 08/09AR6S AND MY FRIEND OFFERED ME NEW S810TIS.. I HAVE USED SALOMON FREESTLE BINDINGS THAT I WAS GOING TO PUT ON THE AR6S BUT NOW IM THINKING ILL PUT THE ALPINE BINDINGS ON... ARE THERE ANY SETBACKS TO USING THESE ALPINE BINDINGS OVER HE S12S IN THE PARK?? ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW BEFORE MOUNTING? THANKS AND SORRY FOR CAPSLOCK

Both of those bindings are absolute shit. Not good for anything other than slapping on rental skis unless you only weigh 80 pounds. They WILL break with hard riding. The whole thing is weak plastic.

In case you didn't understand, if you are going to ski park hard and don't want to replace parts on day 3, sell them and buy something for $50. Or you can ignore me and realize how cost ineffective it is to mount crappy bindings on new skis. Don't be foolish, it's a good investment in the long run. I have replaced the plastic piece around the rail 4 times, bought an entirely new heel piece from someone selling scraps, and replaced parts on that one 3 times again already. They are CRAP made for rental bindings.
That is the advice you need, equally shitty. If you mount either of them, toss a coin, they both suck. Question answered.

alright well im not so much of a "HARD'' skier and i've been skiing onthe z12s for 3 yrs now and they've held up just fine. thanks for the input tho
