i justt wrote a guide how to do that for you without the pop, imap, smtp etc. only to learn that the shitty free NS mail client doesnt even allow email forwarding, what a piece of junk
idk why anyone would pay for email at an address other then their own site nowadays, id recoment ditching the ns email account, it looks like a piece of junk anyhow
So here is a guide on how to do it with a client that doesnt allows pop, imap, smtp etc. But you need to be able to auto forward your mail. So this isnt going to work in your case as far as I know, but maybe you can auto forward it and i just dont know how.
if you have a gmail account, which I recomend having, you can have all your NS emails forwarded their from your NS account. So go into your NS account, and set up email forwarding to your gmail address. Then you can go into Gmail settings, accounts and forwarding, and under "send mail as" set up your NS email address. Also make sure that the option, "reply from the same address the message was sent from" is checked.
Now all of your emails from NS should be forwarded to your gmail account, and when you reply to them you will be replying back as your NS account name.
If you use your gmail email for other stuff, you can take this one step further. Go into Settings, Labs, and enable multiple inboxes. Go back to settings, multiple iunboxes, and set up the search query as "to:youremail@newschoolers.com" and whatever name you want the inbox to be called. Now all mail sent to your Newschoolers account will be forwarded into your gmail account, into your second newschoolers inbox, so it is kept seperate from your gmail messages, and you can reply to them as your newschoolers name.
one more thing you should do, if you have followed all the above steps you are almost done, except for all your newschoolers emails will now be in both inboxes. In order to put them only in your second multiple inbox, go to settings, filters, and set up a filter so that it skips putting your NS emails in your inbox. in the "to" box, put your NS email in it, click next, and check the "skip inbox(directly archive it)" box. Now finish the filter and you should be done.
so now you can acess all of your newschoolers emails right from gmail, where it is possible to set it up on a standalone mail client, mobile phone, etc. And you can skip all the multiple inboxe and filter steps if you are only using the gmail account as your newschoolers account. But i would recomend using gmail because you can do things like this, have 7 gigs of storage, keep all your mail archived, and new features are being added all the time. By far the best mail client, and its free for all.
