hey just wondering if any one of you guys have had some experiences with this camcorder. would this be a good filming device for a young guy trying to capture some shots for small edits and stuff?
it is pretty cheap and seems to be pretty legit, so just wanted to see if u guys could share your 2 cents on this

I have it. Awesome little camera for the money. This should be dominating action sports as it's the only consumer cam that shoots 1080 x 60p

Image quality is very good. Image stabilization sucks so get yourself a good tripod or steadicam.

For $400 you literally cannot get a better camera period. I bought mine from digital rev on ebay for $404 shipped.

If you want more details check in some of the other camera threads. I've posted about it a couple of times.

Anyway, don't hesitate, get it.

thanks for the info. just wondering, is this the same for the 720p hd? and is the standard quality also good on this cam?

isin't it easier/faster to edit and put the files onto your computer in standard? correct me if i'm wrong- im new to filming/editing. on top of that i was just wondering.

so that i have the option to shoot HD if i am down to put more time and effort into editing the footage. Is it true that HD takes that much longer to edit?
