Congrats dude. You are a poster child for why I am trying so hard to get Huck and Splash opened and then open up other locations around the country.
http://www.huckandsplash.com Learning a new trick that way has a better than average chance of going really wrong. Like you said "so i go to the jump look back and try to twist having no idea where i was in the air i could feel i was upside down and then i landed on my feet". I'm glad it worked out for you, and I'm not hating on you. Many of the injuries could be avoided if there was a safer way to progress. We all want to get better and we all want to enjoy this for as long as we can. If you beat the crap out of yourself too much, you won't be able to continue skiing the way you want to. My goal is to create something where, no matter how bad an attempt goes, you can't hurt yourself. Also, I will make sure that I take the sting out of water landings so you don't have the thought in the back of your head saying, "this is going to hurt like hell if I don't land this".There is a better way to go than huck and pray.
