same here, but this year my dad is in texas for my grandmas surgery, so were gonna wake up, open the "santa" presents, and wait for him to get back before we open the rest of them.
whenever we wake up i open stockings and stuff while to coffee is going and then open the gifts over the next hour, when i was younger my brother and i would get up at like 4 and get our stockings and do that and then wake our parents up at 7 and open everything. I could care less now.
my brother, mom, dad, and i open presents and stockings at home when we wake up, usually around 7-9... and we have a small bite to eat, then we go to our grandma and grandpa's house where my entire mom's side of the family is and we have brunch and then open up gifts from them.
my soul, tarnished and ruined from life, all that satisfies my days is simply skiing, for material objects and money just do not bring me happiness- tee hee
We go to church at 10pm. We come back, have a shrimp-crown then we get to open the gifts. until like 12-1 am. we then eat the turkey after opening the gifts. Then off to the bed. We get up at like 10am do a big brunch. and finally open the stockings after the brunch.
Polish tradition dictates that we eat a hearty dinner starting at 5:30 or 6 (which lasts an hour or two, usually closer to two), and then move to the deserts, drinks, and conversation. At some point in the evening, presents get opened, usually around 12:30 or 1 AM, that's just how it happens.
christmas morning when ever we all wake up usually like 9 - 11am somtime in there...then me, my dad, mom and bro all take turns opening presents, then stockings after....then a sick brunch and then its screw around with all the new goodies for the day.
