K2 Kung Fujas. Your opinion?

I'm thinking about getting the K2 Kung Fujas next year.

Anyone have these skis? I would really like your opinion on these.

I really want STRICT pros and cons on these skis.

couple of my mates have these, its a 50/50 ski so i guess its ideal for everything!! my mates loves them aye, you can still hit rails and jumps like a dream, no problems, and because they rocker they are super sick for pow and of piste. super flexy so good for lil butters. other than that i wouldnt no wat im talking about =D

east coast, west coast, or midwest?
groomers, powder, trees? or specifically for park...
skier ability?


pros:
one ski quiver
good pop
pretty soft and rockered = buttery

cons:
soft skis arent as good at holding an edge on hardpack/ice, as well as a bit more difficult to chop through crud.

if youre a decent skier though, youll manage through that on any ski

I got the kung fujas this season and I love it. Because of my height (I'm 190 cm +) I got the longest version (189 cm) which makes it super stable on big jumps as well as outside the slopes. The little rocker makes butters easy and really contributes to making it more playful.
However, if you're only doing rails and little jumps in the park I would consider a more narrow ski. Its qualities really shines when going fast and big. It also carves really well on slopes. I've also tried it out a few times in powder, and it is really good when the snow is not that deep and you still want to charge. In deep snow and trees however, where shorter turns are required, I prefer my Hellbents.

I just bought a pair this year, and these things can rip around. I ride the 179 and i feel like i can trust them a TON more than my invaders that i had last year, because they would wash out. Its a bit of a stiffer ski, but if you like that then your set. They don't seem like they are too much to handle on rails either. These things can eat up the pow too man. Great ski.

i skied mine for the first time the other day and they were awesome. i didnt use them in the park at all but they were super fun

there awesome, super buttery. and the 50/50 park and pow design explains it perfectly. you can still hit rails and jumps amazingly, then swing over to the powder and glades. i love them!

They will take you anywhere on the hill and k2 makes some solid skis. personally I like my armada's but also a fan of the k2 skis. They wont fall short of the to many expectations if they are what you want for specs.

sorry to thread jack but....

how soft are they really? like if you just wana go charge a groomer obviously there are better skis out there for that but can the fujas still hold a nice stable fast edge?

these are very stiff. i'm 5'10 and 210lbs and when i butter press i can only get the tips/tails off the ground about 4 inches. i honestly like it. these can probably hold an edge in an ice rink too. they grip and rip dude

I just bought these this season and love em. Got 179cm with Griffon Schizofrantic. I'm 6'0" 175lbs

Pros:
Super fun ski, poppy, playful
Hold an edge on any snow condition ice to soft
Medium stiffness, easy to turn but still hold an edge
Can do everything from jumps to ripping up groomers
Super stable on landings, ski great switch

Cons:
Little wide for straight rail/jib ski
A bit heavy

Overall:  If you are going to buy only one ski and ride it the whole season this ski is perfect.

this reveiw is pretty accurate. but i don't think they are that heavy. i still wouldn't mind them a little lighter though haha.

Pros - Park and pow, real fun, i learnt butters on them within days, soooo much fun for playing around on

Cons - groomers, edge to edge they're a bit difficult, might just be me being a crappy skiier but when we're charging round the hill they're a bit of a handfull if the snows not great

still an AWESOME ski
