Kung Fujas sizing

Interested in buying a pair of 2010 kung fujas. Im 5'9 150lbs not sure if the 169 or 179 would be better for an all mountain/park ski.

You are probably gunna want to go with the 169 because they measure long and will actually end up being 173.

Really thats the first I have heard of that. Thanks! My friend told me to get the 79 because of the rocker but I was not sure.

you are in between. I would go with the longer ski though. Longer skis are just more stable. You get used to the added swing weight and extra length.

179 if you're a good skier.....

Im 5'7 and ski 183's

they are still really playful.

179...it will make you a better skier...and the rocker makes em ski like 175ish anyway. they do measure long. K2 measures tip to tip and everyone else measures on the base. Go big. It's better.

i have the 179 and am 5'10''. these things fucking rip. good choice of ski. the ski might seem too long or big to be able to handle quickly, but they are so nasty at riping around. they can eat up pow too. i love mine

well as someone said, the rocker will make them ski a bit shorter. but as someone else mentioned, k2 measures weird, so a 179 is really about a 184-5. so because of the rocker, assuming you mount close to center they should feel about true to size.

unless you really feel like youll be overpowered id go 179.

i'm prob getting Kung Fujas' too
my last 2 skis were invaders and fujatives, both measuring out between 171-173

I'm 5'10, 170 ish lbs, agressive skier, 60 percent park , 40 percent all mtn pow skier

169 or 179 ?

i'm 6'1" - 179 or 189. what people are saying is to be believed then the 189s will actually be like 193s which'll be mental but may 179 be a bit short...?

For all mountain, for sure go 189s.  Longer skis are so much more fun, and the softness and long low profile rocker will make them turn easily(193 isn't that long).  179s will be easier to use in park but not as stable.  Cody Townsend was getting down his switch cork 7s(or 9s, can't remember) on a pair of 191(I think) Shoguns at Hood public park in August.

Need a bit more info on how you plan to ride the ski.  Being 5'9" the 169cm will be better 50/50 ski.  I'm 6'0" and the 179cm is just a bit above my head and rides great.  I would suggest 169cm.

and livetwoski you're 6'0" and the 179 is over your head? is that because of the way K2 measures? and yea how have they been for you at that hight in softer snow/around the mountain?
