It looks like both these boots share the same mold making it possible to interchange the tongues??? If this is the case than it should be totally possible to build a krypton pro from the shell of a rampage? By switch the tongue and get a new liner?
Input would be helpful on this matter. thanks.

Congratulations. yes would be similar other than liner and toe buckle and footboard is stiffer.

I'm assuming the toe bucket on the pro allows for more leeway to be tighten down?

nevermind toe on pro is way different. rampage is an inverted buckle.

its inverted to avoid breaking it off, like some park skiers do when it is not inverted. it has no effect other than saving some wear and tear on the buckle.

It wouldn't quite be the same thing, but you could make your rampage flex like a PRO. The volume of the toe box is most likely a bit different. The il moro is kind of dalbello's version of your combination, and comes with two differnt cuffs allowing customization of the flex.

no difference in volume. the difference is in performance. different flexes, and different footboards, and in some cases different liners make them perform differently.
