not so sure about that. it depends on what kind of decking your talking about. I know for a fact that eon is cuttable with a saw. im pretty sure trex is too.
one thing though, since the boards are made of plastic, when cutting them you may not get a clean cut. the heat from the friction of the saw blade will cause the plastic to melt. the way you can avoid this is to have a buddy take a garden hose and spray a fine mist of water on the blade as you are cutting.
i definitely want to try putting composite decking on a box. its just so expensive
