yeah, i got some little cardboard (I think) inserts to put in my boots to help take up space because I have the worst foot/leg combo being hella tall and having chicken legs. I put them on top of the current footbed (standard one that came with my Konflicts) and it seemed to help a little.
I'm gonna look into getting some foam or something between the liner and shell. or maybe put something around my shin/leg.
It's been really tricky for me because I do a lot of BC touring. I use a #4 flex tongue for touring because it offers more flex while I'm skinning up. I tried my #8s at the resort the other day, and it rallied the shit out of my shins. Problem is with the #4s is that they're TOO soft for when I want to charge/ ride a little harder.
I dunno. I'm gonna start trying a number of different things.
Thanks for the help though!
