First edit I threw up in like ten minutes just to check the quality of my new cam.

Some angles could have been better.

Invest in a tripod. The shots were shaky, but overall I enjoyed the edit. I love little ones like that. Siiick shiittt.

lose the bad tv effect, or at least tone it down.

You really should learn how to operate the camera manually. I have never understood why some people use auto iris when shooting with the hvx/hpx. Take an afternoon and learn your camera! You'll be glad you did. Also, use the waveform monitor, it's the best thing ever.

Thanks everyone for the constructive criticism. I know angles were bad and movement was shaky I have a tripod just forgot it that day. I want to learn color grading better and work on my digital intermediate.

would you recommend this camera for skiing and extreme sports?

If you need to ask then you probably don't have the 5000 to throw down/shouldn't throw down that much.

Yes it's very good for skiing, tape doesn't like cold temperatures very much so the hpx is prime (it has no moving parts) and it saves to P2 solid-state.
All times are Eastern (-5)
