no fucking way man. pita pit is pretty good and all but definitely doesnt touch subway
evidence 1- better/more choices of bread
evidence 2- you get to watch them make it and instruct them what to put on
evidence 3- subway subs are way bigger

i just went to pita pit... i watched them actually heat my meat up on a grill rather than microwave it... and i got to tell them what to put on... and the toppings were nicer.

its a bit more expensive for a pita i think, but the quality is a lot better... and you cant really fuck up a pita.... every time i go to subway they just throw some lettuce at the bread and then squirt sauce all over the counter and then cut it like a spazz.

pita pit is good, but i find it loses the awesomeness if eaten as often as one might eat at subway, also way too expensive to go often. i call it a draw.

yeah fuck those are two good points. as is mr pandas, i guess the one near me just doesnt deliver. so yeah theyre both ill but pita pit is a bit expensive for how small the pitas are

I will say one thing about the delivery though. With a pizza, it kinda makes sense. When you order a pita from Pita Pit for delivery you feel like such a lazy fuck. Plus it is hard to tell them what you want too if you don't know exactly what is there.

Last week they had a free day in mammoth.  It was like a twenty min. wait but worth it.  They gave out a coupon for a $2 pita after 10 pm the same day.  I kept going and keeping the coupon until last night they finally took it.  That place is still really good just more expensive than other sandwich choices.

There is this Egyptian guy that runs a Gyro stand at the college I go to. He makes some fucking TASTY Gyro's. Like, one is meal enough for lunch AND dinner.

I always find it so weird that so many people on here consider chain restaurants real food. I see it more as a novelty, not a place I would normally eat. Any good local place will fucking destroy any chain restaurant.

I am not saying its not real in the literal sense but I don't consider it real food that I would eat regularly because it's still fast food that is processed simply to be the cheapest and best tasting it could possibly be, no matter what chemicals or preservatives they put in.

They have WAY over processed cold cuts, precut bagged stale vegetables, the bread has high fructose corn syrup, their whole wheat isn't actually whole wheat by the way, because that would be too expensive to have for a chain. Go to any local deli and you will get healthier, tastier food for just a little higher price. You even support people who live in your town by doing so.
