Skate Park Ledge

My friends and i want to get some session/edit on a ledge at my local skatepark.

Its a concrete flat-down that has metal on the sides and a slick top from all the cess slides etc.
Will this ledge work?? and abuot 10 feet away behind it is a picnic table. we wanna drop in from that. what can we use to drop in from the picnic table?? (maybe a later? ply wood?)

What are you guys using for like a landing and stuff. You got any snow or are you using turf? If you got snow, possibly take some plywood (thick enough to hold weight) and use that against the table I guess, maybe even turn the table so when you lean the plywood the bench is there to support it. Cover that with snow, add a little snow for a landing. And you golden.

o sorry i forgot to mention that we have about 5 inch of snow on the ground. would metal ladder drop in work?

That would have been an important detail. I would just use the snow and make a drop from the picnic table. Why waste the time in bringing a ladder or money on buying plywood. The snow is free and there is probably alot of it due to the fact that its a skatepark that nobody wants to shovel.

AA, I don't think an aluminum ladder would be fast enough by itself, but if you attached some of this to the top of the ladder to make a sliding surface, it should work.

This stuff is really fast.  When you use it, your drop in does not have to be as tall or as steep so it should work for picnic table height.  They usually sell it in half sheets too.  A 2 x 8 sheet should lay about perfect on an aluminum step ladder.  I'd use zip ties to attach it to the ladder.  Should survive the session.
